PTC1 2011/2012 - Day 4

The biggest shock of the day appeared in the morning. Li Yan beaten Mark Williams 4-3 though Williams came from 0-3 down to force a decider.Li Yan was a Q School graduate last month - It's a brilliant achievement for Li to beat Williams. However Li Yan was eliminated by James Wattana in the next round.  

Stephen Hendry only turned up in a few PTCs last year but this year he starts to concern about it. However Hendry lost to Kyren Wilson in decider in his first round match.

Another Q School graduate Simon Bedford made a successful comeback from behind. He beaten Ryan Day 4-3 from 0-3 down. Well played Simon!


Nick Jennings suprisingly defeated former 2005 World Champion, Shaun Murphy. He came down from 1-3 behind. Murphy made a comment on Nick after the match, 'Well played Nick Jennings. From 1-3 he played like a winner and fully deserved it.'


Graeme Dott had a good day in Sheffield. He won all the matches today and he is on his way to last 16.
