The above is the Last 32 draw. John Higgins is leading in the upper draw as a current World Champion while Mark Williams is staying in the lower draw as a world number one.

We have some potential interesting clashes in early rounds. Neil Robertson may meet Ronnie O'Sullivan in the last 16 if they are both through; Mark Selby & Judd Trump may have rematch of China Open 2011 final  in the last 16; Mark Williams may clash Ronnie O'Sullivan in the quarter-finals.

Australian Goldfields Open will run from July 18-24, 2011 at Bendigo Stadium. It is right behind Snooker World Cup which will staged in Thailand. 


The qualifying rounds of the tournament will be played very soon at the World Snooker Academy, Sheffield from June 27-30, 2011. Here is the the format & draw of qualifiers.  


The two lowest seeded qualifiers will play 2 Australian local wildcards at the venue. (Steve Mifsud, James Mifsud)
