Afternoon Session

Final - John Higgins v Judd Trump (Third Session)

Trump leads Higgins 10-7 before third session starts. Higgins takes the opening frame of the session to trail 8-10. Trump regains three frames advantage with 104, leads 11-8. Higgins pulls another back with 97 to trail 9-11. Trump makes a good response with 99 to lead 12-9 before mid session.

After mid session, Higgins steals a frame from Trump. He catches the mistake by Trump on final blue and wins on the black. Higgins wins another one with 93 to trail 11-12. Higgins levels the match 12-12 with 113. Higgins leads Trump 13-12 before last session, he has completely takes all the frames he needs before last session comes. Can Trump well recover?

Evening Session

Final - John Higgins v Judd Trump (Last Session)

Higgins wins the opening frame of last session with 62 before Trump wins the second. Trump levels the match 14-14. However, Higgins wins another frame before mid session to lead 15-14.

Higgins once again extends his lead over Trump to two frames advantage, 16-14. Trump hits a key 70 to pull on back, 15-16 down. In the 32rd frame, Higgins pots a few pressure balls to extends his lead 17-15 over Trump. He is only one frame away from winning the title.

In the 33rd frame, John Higgins needs snooker to regain the frame but he did it - Nice snooker & double for the pink.

John Higgins beats Judd Trump 18-15 to become 2011 World Snooker Champion! It's his fourth world title. Great tournament!
